Members of Local 4177 shave their heads for a great cause.
This year members of The Guilford Professional Firefighters Local 4177 shave their heads to raise money for a great cause. Why do we shave our heads? Because kids with cancer often lose their hair during treatment, "shavees" for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation show their support by shaving their heads voluntarily, and inspiring friends and family to donate money to support childhood cancer research. To date, the event has raised over $44,000 for the New Haven County area.
